It is currently against UK law to ride an e-scooter on public highways, including pavements.
This is currently under UK Government review, with many cities trialling rental e-scooters.

Can you use an e-bike / e-scooter in the rain?
You should check the instruction manual for each product. Please keep the battery dry.
Where should I store and charge my e-bike / e-scooter?
When storing your product, please keep it in a dry place. If you are not using it frequently, make sure that you charge it fully every 3 months for 30 mins. Please keep away from flammable materials.
